Merry Christmas

Spencer liked his first Christmas. He wanted to eat all the paper!

Ooh, this looks like it tastes good! It is my first look at a present, and it isn't even for me!

Christmas Eve at Aunt Julie's house. I like the lights on her tree!

Wow, this is a big one! I wonder if it tastes any different than the smaller ones?

Did Mama and Daddy get me more clothes?
Yay, now I have something that fits and isn't too small!

Santa is ready to go home and take a nap. He's tuckered out!

Ho Ho Ho

Spencer and I met his playgroup today on my lunch hour. We had to do a photo shoot in their Christmas outfits. They were so cute! Spencer is still the biggest in weight and we think in height too. What a surprise!

Spencer kept his arm in the arm of the couch the entire time. He was just relaxing!

The Santas and Elves are all lined up!

William, you are so far away!

Trimming the Tree

We were invited to a tree trimming party at Dana's house. We met Dana at Kristina and Adrian's wedding in the Dominican Republic.

First Snow

I prepared for the possibility of snow by wearing my snowflake pajamas and Christmas bib. Do you think it worked?

My first taste of snow. It is cold but I think it might be fun. My funky hat keeps me warm along with my footed pj's!

Mama and me enjoying the snow. Don't worry, Daddy is taking the picture!

My Red Wings bundle me keeps me warm and safe from the falling snow. Thanks for the warm gift, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Ulana!

Happy Thanksgiving

I like chilling with Aunt Julie on Thanksgiving Day!

My first taste of food. I think I like sweet potatoes!

My Daddy is My Twin!

We wore almost matching sweater's for Spencer's best friend, Drew's, christening today. Spencer was such a good boy during his first visit to church. He enjoyed the party afterwards too at a real Irish pub. He was flirting with all of Drew's relatives and enjoying himself very much.

I Like Rice Cereal!

Spencer's first taste of rice cereal two weeks ago. He likes it so much, he grabbed the spoon and wanted to feed himself!

Daddy takes a turn at feeding him too. The bowl is almost empty just minutes later!

Spencer got the hang of eating very quickly. Here he is this week...recognizing the box already!

And here he is...eating the box before the cereal is prepared.

New Toy

Spencer really likes his new exersaucer. There are so many toys to play with, not to mention all the things he can put in his mouth. Make sure to call him on his cell phone which is just out of range of the picture. He likes to talk on the phone by eating it :-)

Our Vacation

We enjoyed our vacation to the Dominican Republic at the end of October. Kristina and Adrian's wedding was so beautiful. We were honored to be invited to attend. It was great catching up with them as well as Dianna and Chuck, not to mention all the new friends we made. It was hard being away from Spencer, but we managed. We just went to the poolside bar more often. :-)

We were lucky to leave the day that Tropical Storm Noal was approaching. It was raining, but it was still warm. We were happy to get home and see Spencer that night.

Halloween Play Group

We had a play group yesterday in honor of Halloween. Since I was off for vacation, I was able to join them. Luca, William and Spencer had costume changes even :-) They had a good time, but I don't think they were too fond of their costumes. I can hardly wait until next year!

Prizefighter

Our little prizefighter had his 4 month appointment with the doctor yesterday. He is 27" long and weighs in at 19 pounds 1 ounce. He is lighter than we thought, which is good because we aren't ready to buy the next car seat yet!

Spencer and Drew

Drew and Spencer walked with Joanne and I for the Alzheimer's Memory Walk a few weeks ago. After the walk, we hung out at our house and let the boys play together. Spencer was showing Drew the face he uses in all pictures now - the stare with his mouth open look.

Reunited with Kirsten

Spencer was reunited with his friend Kirsten today. We stopped by to pick something up, and he had to take a minute to bond with his friend. Kirsten has gotten so big since we last saw her! I can't wait to get all the babies together again and do another photo shoot. We hope to do this in the next month. I'm sure everyone has grown a lot, but I don't think they'll be quite as big as my bruiser!

Look who's a big boy!

Our little boy is getting so big! We went to pick Julie and Cindy up from the airport, and he wanted to look nice for them. Since it was sunny outside, he requested to wear his Baltimore O's hat. My back was sure hurting after carrying the 20 pound little guy through the airport!

Spencer meets Drew

Spencer met Drew last week for the first time. As you can tell from the picture, they are going to be best friends! Joanne and I had a nice visit, as did the boys. Drew even found time to christen me while I was holding him :-)

Happy October

Spencer is ready for Halloween in his PJ's. Grandma and Grandpa Nottingham brought him this bear when they visited earlier this month. I bet he can't wait to get in his costume.

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit Spencer (and us) all the way from Michigan. This was the first time they met their new grandson.

We spent Saturday at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. It was a great day. It was around 75 degrees and very sunny. Spencer had a good time because he loves being outside. Aunt Julie and Aunt Cindy were being crazy in the USS Constellation museum :-)

Spencer wanted to dress up for our BBQ on Sunday so he requested to wear his outfit of all trains that Grandma Lorrie bought him. Train hat, train outfit, train socks, train shoes....... He was stylin' yet again!

New pictures

I have been late in posting lately, so here are some miscellaneous recent pictures.

Spencer really does love his Daddy. He is resting on Daddy's legs and grinning.

Spencer and his blankie. He loves to grab things in his hands now.

Spencer in his jammies, snuggling with his lion from Aunt Ya Ya. (please ignore his dirty burp cloth)

He was so cute so I had to include both pictures. At one point, he had his thumb in his mouth and was holding his blankie / burp cloth with his other.
