Elmo Live

Santa brought me one of the hottest toys this season, Elmo Live. As you can see by the video above, I love it! It makes me clap and be happy!

Merry Christmas!

Mama has been a little lax in updating my blog, but she is trying to catch up.

It's Christmas morning!!! Yay, Christmas! Daddy and I are quite excited.

Opening my first present of the day. Ignore my runny nose...I was fighting off a cold.

Uh oh, could this be Elmo Live? I've been wanting it for so long! (Check out the video this week to see how much I love it.)

Santa brought me a new train table/set for Christmas. At first, I just ignored it and wanted to play with all the toys I got last Christmas. But once I discovered the table, I realized how much fun it will be!

I'll Play

My friend, Heather, posted on her blog something fun that I thought I would try.

Play the picture game. The rules are:

*Find the 6th picture in your 6th folder.

*Pray that you remember what it is about.

*Blog about it.

This picture was taken on our vacation to Seattle/Vancouver in October, 2003. We went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver and stopped at a little shop across from the bridge. We always joke about the Lyle Lovett song, Take a Bear to Lunch with You, so we had to get a picture of this big bear outside the store.

Popsicle

Back by popular demand...the video of the week...er...month.

I'm fighting a cold so Mama thought a nice cold popsicle would feel good on my throat. I usually only get this treat at Grandma Pat's so it was quite a treat. Mama tried to take it away, and I just grabbed her hand to bring it back to my mouth. I ended up eating the whole thing!

Video of the week

Mama is going to try and post a video each week. We'll see how long she can keep up with it :-)

Here is a quick video of roof ball. Daddy got distracted though because the neighbor cat, Boots, was getting ready to crawl under our deck and get stuck. So we only have a short video this week. I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Thanksgiving

Outside

Being outside is one of my favorite things to do. It wasn't too cold this weekend, so Mama and Daddy let me play on the deck. I'm modeling my new winter coat.
This is one of the problems...I always want to take my shoes off!

Cozy

I'm all snug as a bug in a rug! Mama got me all tucked in on the couch so I could stay warm.

Visiting with Uncle Toby

I got to spend some rare time with Uncle Toby during Thanksgiving weekend. He let me cuddle with him while I watched some Baby Einstein. One of these days Uncle Toby will bring Aunt Miryam with him so I can meet her.

P.S. Can you tell I'm looking more like Daddy every day? Everyone says I have an English face now, whatever that means :-)

How to eat Cheerios

Roof Ball

Disclaimer: I don't know why I'm not wearing pants. I think Mama was too tired to struggle to put them back on me after a diaper change.

I love to take my ball out on the deck. It's one of my favorite things to do when the weather is nice.
Daddy made up a new game where he would throw my ball onto the roof, and it would fall and bounce.
I love this new game! You never know where the ball will land: in front of me, over the side of the deck, or even on Mama's head!!!
Anticipation is the best. When is it going to fall????

Trains...

Mama and Daddy took me to watch trains last weekend. It was a quick trip, and Mama thought I would be scared to be that close to the trains. But I wasn't. I was mesmerized! It was fun sharing Daddy's hobby with him.

Kitties at Work

Mama asked if I would share my blog with these cute kitties. They are currently living outside Mama's office window in the storm drain. There is a mama kitty and at least 4 babies. If anyone is near Columbia and wants a kitty, let me know and I'll tell Mama. I think there is still one baby that hasn't been claimed yet. We have to find him/her a home, and soon!

Spencer and Thomas

Mama and Daddy went to Barnes & Noble to look for books. While Daddy was looking for something, Mama kept me busy in the children's section with this Thomas the Tank Engine table. I had a great time and didn't like it when we left.

Didgeridoo

Mama gave me a didgeridoo to play with. Okay, it's not really a didgeridoo, but the cardboard did taste good! Mama took it away after about a minute because I started to eat it :-(

Beautiful Sadie

Here are some recent pictures of my beautiful cousin Sadie. Just because I let Mama post some pictures does not mean I like her! She's still growing on me......

I guess she was shy in this picture with my Daddy.

Happy Halloween!

Oh what a difference a year makes!

Playgroup 2007 Halloween costume shoot... (I'm the cute frog in between the pumpkins!)

Playgroup 2008 Halloween costume shoot...(I'm the cute Superman on the right side!)

I'm a pretty cool Superman. Don't you like the way my sleeves are rolled up????

This is Sadie's first Halloween. She dressed as a chicken. The costume doesn't make me like her anymore...she is always getting too close to my Mama.

I have to admit she looks so cute and sweet in her chicken suit. Mama even did the chicken dance with her!

Mama was a kitty cat (you can't see her tail in this picture). What was Daddy? I'm not sure, but he is wearing the same color as Elmo.

I did not enjoy my first trick-or-treating experience unfortunately. I cried up and down Grandma's street and finally stopped crying when we got home.

Play Time at the Mall

Mama and Daddy took me to the mall today to play in the play area. They needed me to expend some energy. I'm not sure what that means, but it was fun!
Daddy thinks I look like the bad kid in Karate Kid when they are dressed up for Halloween. I think I look cute and even cuter when my shirt glows in the dark.
Daddy followed me through the tunnel. This time he made it without getting stuck :-)
I really like the wheel things on the sides.
Snuggling with Mama for a minute of down time.

I liked going down the slide!!! Watch my video if you don't believe me!

Trip to Michigan - We Survived!

I did so well in the car. 10 hours is still too long though to be entertained.
Daddy is letting Sadie and me watch Baby Einstein.
Grandma and Grandpa Nottingham are meeting my cousin Sadie for the first time.
Aunt Julie and Sadie
I'm so tired, but I can't fall asleep yet. I'll try to wriggle out of Grandma's arms instead.
Well, that didn't work so I'll try to wriggle in Grandpa's arms instead.
Mama's friend from high school, Angie, stopped by to meet me and visit for a little bit.

Happy Family

We had a nice day together. Daddy took this while we were watching Baby Einstein: Baby Noah.

Mealtime

I'm getting pretty good at using a fork to eat now as long as someone else stabs my food for me. I think the spoon will be the next thing I try. Mama isn't ready to give me a knife yet for some reason!

Ukrainian Festival

We went to the Ukranian Festival again this year...and I tried my first potato pancake. It was pretty good. I liked watching the dancers and running all around Patterson Park.

New Word

I learned a new word recently...COOKIE. It is my favorite word because it means that I'm going to eat something yummy!

New...

My newest achievement is getting up on the couch all by myself. Mama wishes I did not learn this new thing because now she has to hide the remotes that she used to put on the couch out of my reach.

Last Hurrah

Mama and Daddy took me to the pool during Labor Day weekend as a last hurrah.
I liked coming close to the streams of water, even though it was really cold!
