I wanted to introduce my new cousin, Sadie Leigh. She was born on 6/12/08 at 2:55 AM. She weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces (the same as me!) and is 20 inches long. 
Mama was with Aunt Julie throughout her induction and c-section. She wasn't able to meet my cousin though until later that day, during visiting hours. I can't wait to meet her!
Mama let me sit on her lap while we watched a Baby Einstein DVD. She is so cuddly and comfortable! She also let me snack on some goldfish, which is my favorite snack.
Aunt Julie stayed the weekend with us because it was so hot and she doesn't have A/C at home. She was waiting for my cousin to come so she cuddled with me instead.
My kitty Chessie loves to sunbathe by the back door. I decided to spend a little quality time with her in the sun. At least I can feel the air conditioning coming out of the vent to cool my feet!
Mama and Daddy joined the local pool association so that I can keep up my swimming skills. This pool is a lot shallower than the pool I'm used to. This one only comes up to my belly! The water was cold the day we went, but I still had a good time. The lifeguard said that he has never seen a baby as young as me be so comfortable in the water. Kudos to me!
At first, I wasn't sure I liked the grass. It was rough on my feet.
But once I figured out that I could eat it, I liked it a lot better!
Especially when I sit on Daddy's lap. He is fun to play with outside.
This is my first time in a sand box. My neighbor's grandchildren let me play with their sand toys, but I really just wanted to taste the toys and the sand!
