Sunday #18 06/27/10

Spencer at 3 years years old...

Kate at 4 months old...

Rolled over front to back (just once so far)
Loves to chew on her hands or dress
Is a very messy eater, and you can't look at her when she is eating or she will smile
Loves to smile and laugh
Is a very happy baby
Does not like to sleep through the night
Puts up with her big brother burping her, trying to turn her over, etc.
Desperately wants to roll over from her back to her front but can't figure it out yet. Instead she somehow scoots around without ever rolling.

Imagine

Spencer likes to play with the mobile in Kate's crib.

Sunday #18 06/27/10

Spencer's latest escapade is to climb into Kate's crib and play with her mobile, which plays John Lennon's "Imagine." Luckily he doesn't usually do it when Kate is in the crib too.

Kate looks so pretty with her brown and pink against the handmade blanket.

Spencer had a take a turn on the blanket too. Usually wherever Kate is, Spencer is.

Happy Birthday Spencer!

The theme this year had to be Thomas the Tank Engine :-) Spencer LOVED his cake and kept calling it his "Happy Cake" (a shortened version of Happy Birthday Cake). So cute!

Spencer liked opening presents this year.

Kate was cozy on one of the mom's laps and fell promptly asleep. This mom has 6 boys (yep, I said 6 boys) so she was more than happy to have a girl fix.

Happy Father's Day!

Spencer was tooling around the house on the tricycle that Sadie got for her birthday.

Last Day of School

I had to get a picture of Spencer's school.

Despite the funny look, Spencer was actually enjoying his chicken nugget meal at Chick-Fil-A. I am hoping to start a new tradition of doing something special on the last day of school.

One of his teachers gave him a paint set that he had to use immediately. He made a Father's day painting for Daddy!

Early Birthday Present

Grandma Lorrie bought new bedding for Spencer's birthday. He loves it! "Blue stars!"

Everything is reversible so this is just one combination. Now we just have to hang the curtains.
