The theme this year had to be Thomas the Tank Engine :-) Spencer LOVED his cake and kept calling it his "Happy Cake" (a shortened version of Happy Birthday Cake). So cute!

Kate was cozy on one of the mom's laps and fell promptly asleep. This mom has 6 boys (yep, I said 6 boys) so she was more than happy to have a girl fix.

We could certainly use some of that heat, it's been a miserable cold dark damp spring and early summer here (check the link on one of our recent blog postings). Sorry to miss Spencer's 3rd, we recognize several of the adults trying to stay cool!!!
